What are the most flattering colours

Have you ever felt that some days you put on an item in your wardrobe and you don’t feel right for the rest of the day and at other times you put something else on and you feel great?

Well it’s probably due to the colour. We all have different skin tones, independent to whether we are black, white, yellow or tanned, and this all makes a difference on how our clothes look on us and the glow that they give to our face.

colors

We can divide our skin tones into the four seasons of the year being winter, spring, summer and autumn and depending on our skin tone, the colour of our eyes and our hair is what will denote into what category we fall into.

You can find out to what season you belong by holding up different coloured scarves up to your face and you will soon realize that certain colours make your skin come alive and others will have a dulling effect on it.
Basically if you fall into the winter category which is for people with paler skin, light eyes and medium brown hair, white, pale blue, grey, purple, navy and khaki will suit you best. If you are autumn with mid toned skin, auburn hair, freckles and hazel eyes all the shades of brown and apricots will go perfectly for you. Summer is for darker skins, darker hair and darker eyes and you will come out looking best wearing shades of red, rust, lavender, black, and icy colours. And lastly for those that fall into the spring category with the palest of complexions, pale eyes and very fair hair you can wear all those pastel colours plus black will look very striking on you as well.

Try and stick to the colours that suit you best and you will find that that way you always end up looking your best.
